This page and the cost calculator are free. The Clippingli app is $199 lifetime. OpenAI bills your key for transcription and titles.

Does my video upload to Clippingli?

Not for clipping. Your video stays on your computer. OpenAI may receive what those AI features need, billed to your key. Optional preview links and license checks are in the Privacy Policy.

Mac and Windows?

Yes. One license covers the installers we currently ship for Mac and Windows.

Can I use this without an OpenAI key?

No. AI features need a key in Settings. Guide: /help/openai-key

What about watermarks?

Clippingli does not burn a Clippingli watermark into paid exports. Cloud free tiers often do. Read each rival's current plan.

How is this different from a browser converter?

Browser converters host or proxy the file. Clippingli is an installed app. Clips are made on your computer.
